Verify that your DNS resolvers align with your current connection.
A DNS leak occurs when your device sends DNS queries (the lookups that turn website names into IP addresses) outside the encrypted VPN tunnel. Even if your web traffic is encrypted, leaked DNS requests can expose the websites you visit to your ISP, network operator, or any on-path observer. Leaks usually happen because of misconfigured resolvers, “smart” routers, captive portals, or OS features that silently fall back to a default DNS.
VPNUK prevents DNS leaks by routing DNS inside the VPN, enforcing safe resolvers, and providing network-level protection that keeps your queries private. If this test flags a leak, switch to VPNUK and re-run the test.
